Bio of The Pussycat Dolls

The Pussycat Dolls is an US female dance-pop singing group, consisting of lead singer Nicole Scherzinger, as well as Melody Thornton and Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta and Kimberly Wyatt. The Dolls began as a dance troupe based in Los Angeles, and expanded to Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The group, which was founded by choreographer Robin Antin in 1995, released its first single in 2005 titled Don't Cha, which Antin can be seen in the video for. After the single hit major success, the Doll's album hit platinum. To date they have released 9 singles - Don't Cha, Stickwitu, Beep, Buttons, I Don't Need a Man, Wait A Minute, When I Grow Up, Watcha Think About That, I Hate This Part, Jai Ho (You Are My Destiny) and Hush Hush - and 2 albums titled PCD and Doll Domination. In 2008 Carmit Bachar left the group.The Pussycat Dolls have also toured with Rihanna, Black Eyed Peas, Beyoncé, Danity Kane, Lady GaGa and Christina Aguilera and most recently; Britney Spears.
